Over 65 and Disability Renewals:

By now, you should have received your 2025 Exemption Renewal letters. If you have misplaced yours, we should have duplicates in the office Mid-November. Renewal letters are due December 31, 2024. As always, if you have any questions, please contact our office at (205) 481-4125. Thank you!

The Bessemer Tax Assessor, Charles R. Winston, Jr., established criteria for an Employee of the Month Award. This award is called the C3 Award. The award is presented monthly to employees who demonstrate Character, Competence and Consistency. Selection is based upon customer comment cards, emails, supervisor recommendations, etc. It is my pleasure to introduce the winners thus far. Great job recipients!!! Keep up the good work. Who will it be next month? 🤔
