Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I want to start with two simple words: thank you.
Thank you for believing in this campaign. Thank you for opening your doors, answering our calls, and trusting me with your voice. While the results of this election were not what we hoped for, I am not walking away discouraged , I am walking away grateful.
Together, we made real progress in District 5. We showed up for one another, we had honest conversations about what this district needs, and we built something rooted in community, not just campaigning. That work does not disappear because of one election night. It lives in the relationships we built and the issues we brought to the table.
To every volunteer who knocked doors, every neighbor who put up a sign, and every supporter who simply believed, I am deeply grateful. This was never about me. It was always about us, and about District 5.
I remain committed to this community. The work continues, and I hope you’ll stay engaged with me in whatever comes next.

Building Together

Today, after our Bessemer City Council meeting, I had the opportunity to connect with D5 resident Mr. William Stokes.
Mr. Stokes shared his belief in the progress we are making and the importance of working together to continue moving our community forward. Conversations like this remind me that progress happens when residents and leadership come together, listen to one another, and remain committed to the future of District 5 and the City of Bessemer.

Thank you, Mr. Stokes, for your encouragement and for believing in what we can accomplish together. There is still work to do, but I’m proud of the progress we are making.
