Thank you to all that came out to Support the Bessie Fire Department. All 1,011 of you.

We still have sausage available for sale. If you can’t catch one of the firemen, you can stop by the Bessie or Cordell COOPs to pick some up.

We still have some shirts available as well if you’re interested in picking one o those up.

It was an interesting evening. We even had some of the retired firemen go back into service to help with a grass fire that occurred during the meal.

We will be having a special game for kids tonight at the pancake supper

They’ll have an opportunity to take home a friendly Little Crickett

His name is Jiminy and he only holds a single little .22 at a time.

Each child (16 and under) (with parent’s permission) while coming through the meal line tonight can request an opportunity to take this Little Crickett home.

If you will be joining us in the drive-through line tomorrow; please enter the alley on seventh Street, and drive south behind the gym. This will allow the driver side window to face the gym where orders are being taken. 

If possible, please drive east from Jefferson towards Main on seventh Street before turning in to the alley.

This helps ensure that we are not blocking parking along the building, or the intersection itself if the line gets long

New shirts!

The new shirt will be available starting on Saturday February 28th.

Sizes:
Child XS-L
Adult: S-5X

Supplies are limited. Some sizes will run out quickly.

Children are $15 and adults are $20

Please help tomorrow, to prevent the spread of fires

Don’t throw cigarette butts outside your car, be sure to wet the ground down if you were doing any type of welding, cutting, or grinding. If you’re pulling a trailer, make for sure you have no chains dragging. 

The dry conditions and wind will make fires move extremely quickly
