🚨 IMPORTANT MAUI UPDATE 🚨

His van broke down. He tried to find another way to get to the library, but there’s just one small problem:

He does not fit in a rental car.

So, sadly, today’s Maui visit is canceled. We’re sorry for the change of plans and hope to have our extra-large cuddle buddy back at the library soon!

Some of the stuffies at Bethalto Library are anxiously awaiting the arrival of your favorite stuffed animal friends! Stuffed Animal Sleepover is tomorrow night. Drop off your stuffie friend any time before 4 pm, then come pick them up Saturday morning and see what antics they got up to at the library!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge! If you haven't picked up all your goodies, you have until 7pm on Monday, August 10th before it goes away.

Simple Stagecoach Flowers farm will be here with a bouquet bar for you to build your own beautiful bouquet. Registration is recommended. Those registered are guaranteed a bouquet. Be sure to arrive when it starts for the widest variety of flowers to choose from. Each bouquet is $20.

The Summer Reading Challenge ends this week! If you are using the Beanstack app to track your reading, don't forget to enter your digital tickets into the Final Prize Drawings. If you are tracking your reading on the paper forms, turn them in before 4pm on July 31st to get your final prize tickets entered.
