Big shout out to our CSP Troop I Bethany SROs for all their work in our schools this summer and in our communities. Tonight at “National Night Out” our Eli Whitney Technical High School and Emmett O’brien Technichal High troopers are out meeting and supporting our community members. Another great day to be apart of the CTECS family.

National Night Out!

Troop I had a great time attending the Town of Wallingford’s National Night Out! Thank you to the Town of Wallingford, the Wallingford Police Department, and the Wallingford Fire Department for hosting such a great community event.

It was great seeing familiar faces, meeting new people, and talking with so many families throughout the evening. We appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the event and thank everyone who stopped by our table!

We are excited to welcome our newest Trooper Trainee Rivera #802, who recently graduated from the 138th Training Troop. After successfully completing 28 weeks at the CSP Training Academy, he will begin his 45 day field training program this week.

Holiday weekends are meant to be enjoyed, and a few simple decisions can help ensure everyone gets home safely to their loved ones. Please celebrate responsibly, never drive impaired, and buckle up.

🏃🏼‍♂️ Troop I proudly participated in the 2026 Connecticut Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics Connecticut.

Troopers, constables, and cadets carried the Flame of Hope for approximately 3 miles from the Troop I barracks during the final leg of the event. A great day supporting an even greater cause and the inspiring athletes of Special Olympics Connecticut!
