y, hospital, and a municipal airport. Serving approximately 900 Pre-K to 12th grade students, South Harrison R-II strives to provide each and every student with a vigorous and stimulating education plan. While providing a strong basis in the four core areas, South Harrison Jr.-Sr. High School also offers multiple opportunities in the areas of fine arts, practical arts, performing arts, and health/PE. A large variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular programs are also available to students. South Harrison R-II strives to provide opportunities for each student to achieve his/her potential by reaching for excellence through Bulldog pride and community partnerships.

As the 2025-2026 school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what an amazing year it has been for South Harrison Co. R-II. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our parents, students, staff, and community. Thank you for making this year one to remember.

There are simply too many individual accomplishments and milestones to highlight everything, but just to name a few:

๐ŸŽ“ Our graduating seniors earned over $365,000 in scholarship awards.
๐Ÿ“– Hundreds of students achieved academic success and milestones, including many making the Honor Roll all four quarters.
๐Ÿ“ˆ Students reaching attendance milestones and perfect attendance this year.
๐Ÿ† State Champion Runner-Up finishes in Girls Golf and Softball.
๐Ÿ“š Williford Foundation Grants supporting our District STEM Event, High School Book Club, and student trip to St. Louis.
๐Ÿ’™ Individual grants and donations from GRM, GEC, Grundy Electric, BTC Bank, Farmers Bank, Gumdrop Books, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Wal-Mart, North Missouri Mowers, local churches and many others that helped provide for student needs and classroom supplies.
๐Ÿพ A generous $50,000 donation from a South Harrison alumnus to support the high school essay contest and renovate a locker room.
๐Ÿ› A $50,000 grant from Caseyโ€™s to purchase additional playground equipment.
๐ŸŒŸ A grant from the Williford Foundation for playground surface material and the construction of a privacy fence at the ECSE building.

Most importantly, we are extremely grateful to our community for approving Proposition C.A.R.E., the $0.75 tax levy increase, and for your continued reinvestment into our district. Your support ensures we can continue providing opportunities and resources that positively impact our students for years to come.

As we finish another school year, we continue to carry Chase Beatyโ€™s memory with us each and every day. Chase would have been completing his sophomore year at South Harrison High School, and it has meant so much to our Bulldog family to honor him each month through Hat Day for Chase.๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงข
Join us tomorrow, May 13th, for our final Hat Day for Chase of the school year. Bring $1 to wear your favorite hat, with proceeds supporting the Chase Beaty Memorial Scholarship. Through this scholarship, the Beaty Family was able to honor Chase this year by providing scholarships to three graduating seniors.

South Harrison Co. School District โ€“ Please Share

Important decisions are being made right now in Jefferson City that will directly impact funding for our schools.

We want to thank the Missouri Senate, led by Senator Rusty Black, for prioritizing public education by including:
โ€ข $118 million for the foundation formula
โ€ข $15 million for student transportation

That is a strong step in the right direction. Now the process continues, and it is critical that these dollars remain real and funding that actually reaches schools.

Missouri schools are already dealing with funding shortfalls, and the foundation formula remains underfunded. This impacts our classrooms, our staff, and our students.
