💧 A Major Investment in Bethany’s Future 💧

The City of Bethany recently celebrated the completion of the Well & Wellfield Improvements Project with a ribbon cutting ceremony for this transformative infrastructure investment.

Funded through a $4.6 million grant from the State of Oklahoma’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) program and administered by the Oklahoma Water Resources Board, this project represents the most significant improvement to Bethany’s water infrastructure in more than 25 years.

The project included:
✔️ Redrilling 5 water wells
✔️ Rehabilitating 8 inactive water wells
✔️ Upgrading and replacing wellfield transmission lines
✔️ Increasing Bethany’s water production capacity by 1.4 million gallons per day

These improvements strengthen the reliability of our water system, enhance resiliency, and help secure Bethany’s water supply for generations to come.

Thank you to our state partners, project team, and everyone who helped make this critical investment a reality.

The Bethany Economic Development Authority (BEDA) is excited to launch our new economic development website: BethanyDevelopment.org.

Made possible in part through a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and created by Ghost Agency, this new platform is designed to be a one-stop shop for businesses, developers, and site selectors considering Bethany.

The site features available properties, traffic and demographic data, zoning information, financing resources, business testimonials, and more! The site features everything needed to evaluate opportunities and invest in our community.
