Bethany Fire & Rescue is a career department with 22 fire personnel that operates around the clock, providing public safety for our citizens out of one centrally located fire station. Some of the services the fire department provides include fire suppression, emergency medical aid, public assists and public education/fire prevention. Bethany Fire & Rescue has automatic mutual aid with the Warr Acr

es and Yukon fire departments for structure fires, so it is not uncommon to see one of their fire trucks in our city, as we often help one another and also train together. If you have any questions for us or need assistance changing smoke detector batteries, please feel free to contact us at (405) 789-2218. Posting Guidelines:

A great message all first responders can relate to. PLEASE keep the streets clear for emergency vehicles. It's hard to navigate narrow residential streets in a big fire truck when there are vehicles and obstacles blocking the roadway. We hope you never need our services, but if you ever do, just know that every second counts in an emergency and a delay in our response could mean the difference between life and death for you, a loved one or a neighbor. So keep the streets clear because....
"WE CAN'T HELP IF WE CAN'T GET THERE"

WE CAN'T HELP IF WE CAN'T GET THERE

To be able to put out fires, provide life-saving pre-hospital care and help on other emergencies, Horry County Fire Rescue crews need to be able to get to your residence.

If your neighborhood roadways are blocked with vehicles, and we can't get our ambulances and fire engines to you, that delays response and potentially critical care.

NEVER block roadways.

Be considerate that first responder vehicles need a bit extra room to get by, and the emergency call we might be headed to could be one of your loved ones.
