One of my favorite lessons to share with my students is how to become better individuals in their daily lives. We focus on a life skill each week, introducing it on Monday and exploring its meaning and application throughout the week. On Friday, we reflect on our progress in our mini composition notebooks, assessing whether we've mastered the skill or need further practice. The students enjoy reviewing their journals at the end of the year, and parents appreciate the insight during conferences. 📝 (found in our Teachers Pay Teachers store)

A few new additions to the classroom. Since I changed up the colors, I changed up my hanging flip calendar. Did I have to? No, but it makes me happy. 😂 Also I’m excited to try out these little adhesive pencil holders. Hopefully they help my friends keep track of their pencils! 😀✏️

I’ve been thinking about how I can incorporate more PBI into my classroom all summer. So far I’ve come up with five PBI math questions with charts of information, multiple solutions, that are engaging (tested on my own kids 😆), and apply to the real world! Also! If anyone needs a good printer for a great price, we just got this! It works great and the price was right! We found this price from Best Buy, Amazon was cheaper but had a 2 week wait on delivery. 🚚
