Brotherhood-In-Action of Bethel BIA is a community organization that provides food and other assistance to residents of CT Brotherhood In Action of Bethel, Inc.

is a local, all-volunteer, federally recognized non-profit organization. Since 1980 we have been providing food, rent, and utilities assistance, as well as other forms of financial assistance, to those in need who reside in the town of Bethel, Connecticut. We collect and purchase food to be distributed to Bethel individuals and families in need at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Throughout th

e year, we respond to requests for help as needed. We provide food on a continual basis to the Bethel Community Food Pantry, which also serves the people of Bethel, and on occasion provide one-time support to organizations in surrounding towns that are in particular need.

EASTER DELIVERIES! We’re all set to deliver to many families food for EASTER. The delivery date is SATURDAY APRIL 4th starting at 9AM. We need lots of delivery help that morning – there is no pre-signup, just show up and follow these instructions…

PLEASE ENTER THE PARKING LOT FROM THE GREENWOOD AVENUE ENTRANCE ONLY. This entrance is to the right of the Bethel United Methodist Church, between the church and the front of the building in which we are located. From this entrance, you will be directed to queue your vehicle in a drive-through line that will allow us to give you delivery assignments and load your vehicle. The volunteers loading your vehicle will give you your delivery instructions. PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE; you will exit the parking lot via School St after your vehicle is loaded. Thank you!

Remember this is the Stop & Shop over on Lake Ave since the Newtown Ave one has closed.

This will be going on ALL March.
