📢 Did you know that prediabetes is often an "invisible" threat to military readiness?
The good news? It is entirely reversible.
Secure your readiness by taking charge of your daily routine:

✅ Prioritize whole foods over highly processed options.
✅ Keep active to meet physical fitness guidelines.
✅ Talk to your provider about screening.

Curious to know what it’s like being an intern at ARMORR? Here’s a fun peek into Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) and project management intern Sabrina’s day! We love seeing how she implements some H2F strategies into her workday, such as taking walking meetings and using the Power Plate during lunch. 👏

Service members often endure long waking hours, shift work, or both. Staying awake longer than 24 hours or during periods when your internal clock prefers to sleep can impact physical and cognitive performance.

Infographics, like the below from HPRC - Human Performance Resources by CHAMP, provide sleep strategies for before, during, and after shift work and sustained operations.

An Arm Immersion Cooling System can be any suitable reservoir of cold water used to immerse the hands and forearms during rest periods or following strenuous work in hot environments.

When properly incorporated into unit heat-mitigation procedures, arm immersion can help reduce thermal strain and support recovery. It does not replace hydration, acclimatization, work-rest controls, appropriate medical response, or compliance with applicable heat-exposure guidance.
