🌟 Last Thursday, Oasis was proud to host an Age-Friendly Montgomery event focused on Health Literacy and Plain Language Communication. 🗣️📖

We were joined by representatives from Montgomery County, MD Government, Suburban Hospital, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and local nonprofits for an engaging discussion on making information more accessible for all. 🤝💙

Last Friday, we had a wonderful time celebrating our amazing volunteers with an Ice Cream Social! Our staff scooped and served a delicious ice cream bar while everyone enjoyed toppings and treats.
We kicked things off with a fun icebreaker, then took some time to flex our gratitude muscles by creating heartfelt thank-you cards. 💌
We were also lucky to have a special visit from Fuji, a retired therapy dog, who brought lots of smiles and comfort to everyone. 🐾
