WHR is a partnership between the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research on Women's Health (ORWH), and National Library of Medicine (NLM). • Pioneered and continues to promote an interdisciplinary approach to women’s health research.
• Developed and continues to lead initiatives to advance women in biomedical careers.
• Encourages analyses and reporting of s*x differences and similarities in basic science research.
• Disseminates women’s health research information to scientists and to the public.
