School is officially back in session!! We want to welcome back all our local students to our schools and we want to remind everyone on the roads to pay attention and stay alert. Every year we focus our traffic enforcement in the beginning of the school year around school zones and bus stops. Remember to always stop for any school bus actively loading or unloading students as well as keep a strict 15 M.P.H. speed limit in school zones during morning and afternoon times.

UPDATE: This lucky fellow was adopted yesterday afternoon (07/15/26)! Thank you to all who reached out and shared! We wish him the best of luck in his new forever home.

This friendly male Pit has been with us for 10 days now with no-one claiming him. We are open for adoptions for anyone interested. We are hoping to get him placed ASAP because living at a police station is not ideal for anyone!
The best thing to do is to stop by our station and visit him in person. If he's a good fit, simply fill out an adoption application and start a new future for him!

Some information:
He is strong, but good on a leash. He is house trained and has not had any accidents. He is intact, unknown medical history. It's unknown how he interacts with other animals, but he is friendly and calm with adults.
