The large gathering of residents, including many small business owners from all five towns, spoke volumes about the confidence local residents have in her leadership and dedication to our communities. Her rapid qualification for Connecticut’s Citizens’ Election Program further reflects the strong support she has earned throughout the district.

Karen has consistently fought to protect the small town character of Woodbury, Bethlehem, Litchfield, Morris, and Warren while standing up against costly unfunded mandates and government overreach that place additional burdens on local taxpayers. She understands that decisions affecting our towns should remain in the hands of local residents.

Throughout her time in office, Karen has built a strong record of accessibility, responsiveness, and dedication to the people she represents. Whether advocating for fair education funding, supporting local businesses, promoting financially accessible housing options, preserving local control, or protecting the rural character that makes our district special, she has remained focused on practical solutions and responsible leadership.

At a time when many voters are frustrated by divisiveness and political noise, Karen Reddington-Hughes continues to offer steady leadership rooted in community values, fiscal responsibility, and respect for local voices.
