Starting TODAY 🛣️ Lehigh Valley motorists should be aware & prepare for lane restrictions and delays as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) crews and contractors conduct work on more than two dozen roads.

The most significant project involves nighttime paving on Interstate 78 between Exit 67 and Exit 71 in Bethlehem and Lower Saucon Township.

Earlier this year, the PA Chamber of Business and Industry hosted its inaugural Policy Summit in Harrisburg, inviting the Senate Competitiveness Caucus to take part. As Co‑Chair, I was honored to attend and highlight Pennsylvania’s strengths — our workforce, geography, higher‑education institutions, and legacy industries — and to share how the Caucus listens, learns what works and what doesn’t, and shapes policy based on what we hear.

Tomorrow, the PA Competitiveness Caucus will meet in the 18th Senatorial District for a roundtable discussion with the PA Chamber and local businesses.

Proud to share that three projects in Northampton County will receive $1,472,704 through Pennsylvania’s Main Street Matters program to support economic development and downtown revitalization in Bethlehem and Easton.

This investment will strengthen our downtowns by supporting economic growth, housing opportunities, educational and recreational projects, and community activity that attracts residents and visitors.

In recent years, I’ve secured state funding for The Gateway on 4th, The Nurture Nature Center, and programs led by the Greater Easton Development Partnership, underscoring the importance of continued state investment in strengthening our communities.

A truly amazing day for our community and River Crossing YMCA! I’m incredibly proud to have played a role in making this project a reality by securing significant state funding — including $500,000 through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) and $100,000 through Local Share Account (LSA) grants.

Join me in congratulating Colby Sell and Casey Fluke of Troop 311 on earning the rank of Eagle Scout!

For his Eagle Scout community service project, Colby Sell renovated the equipment shed for Saucon Valley Youth Football, and Casey Fluke completed exterior renovations at the historic Lutz‑Franklin Schoolhouse.

It was an honor to give a congratulatory citation from the Senate of Pennsylvania recognizing their commitment, alongside their family, friends, and Troop 311. Wishing both of these outstanding young men continued success.
