Today we remember Officer Phillip Fahy, who was lost in the line of duty on August 29, 1969. Officer Fahy was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop on a motorist. He served with the Bethlehem Police Department for 3 years and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

New Bethany is proud to be a community partner sponsor of Bike Broad, a brand-new event bringing neighbors together for a day of connection, movement, and fun.

In partnership with the City of Bethlehem and CAT-Coalition for Appropriate Transportation, Bike Broad will transform Broad Street into a car-free space where people of all ages and abilities can walk, bike, and roll before enjoying a community festival at the Rose Garden featuring music, food, local vendors, and community partners.

We encourage everyone to come out, bring your friends and family, and be part of this exciting new community tradition!
