We are so full of gratitude today. Thrilled that we were successful in electing Rayah, Karen, Emily, and Kim to the BASD school board, and thankful for everyone who helped make it happen. Big ups to:

😎Brian for beautiful design and web expertise that helped us get our message out
🧐Elliot and Greg for behind-the-scenes support on strategy
😊Mike F. and Mike R. for advice and support
🤪Jayme and Krystal for wrangling signs and campaign literature, and for fun snarky group texts
🗳️Rep. Steve Samuelson for being our sign guru and getting tons of them into the yards of neighbors all across the district
💪Kathy at Lehigh Valley For All for helping our literature get into the hands of voters
📱Our buddies at and for boosting us on social when we didn’t have much reach

We are so grateful to our donors, who we couldn’t do this without. Every little bit helped, even as we were doing all of this on a shoestring and up against huge spending from our opponent.

Thank you to everyone who liked, commented, and shared our social media posts to help us spread the word.

We wouldn’t even be here without everyone who decided our community was worth the time and effort to get out and VOTE.

And thank you to our candidates for putting themselves out there and being amazing!

Now we need a nap.

🚨🚨We’ve been made aware that there have been some issues at Hanover Township Community Center. Voting machines have not been working, and provisional ballots have been running low. The county will be delivering more ballots, so sit tight!! You will still be able to vote!

Here’s what you need to know to vote today:

🗳️You can vote until 8 pm. If you are in line at 8, stay there! You can still vote!
🗳️ If you requested a mail ballot but haven’t returned it and you want to vote in person, bring ALL pieces of your ballot (even the envelopes) to your polling place and surrender them to the election judge.
🗳️ If you don’t have all pieces of your mail ballot to surrender at your polling place, you can still vote in person with a provisional ballot. The county will verify that you didn’t vote by mail before they count your provisional ballot.
🗳️ If you need help voting or you think election rules are being violated, talk to the election judge at your polling place. You can also report problems to the state by calling the voter hotline at 877-868-3772.

Common-sense school leadership doesn’t bend to political ideologies. Rayah, Karen, Emily, and Kim will work to focus on the real issues—giving Bethlehem students and educators what they need to succeed while responsibly serving our community and taxpayers.

On Nov. 7, vote to keep extremism off of the BASD school board. Say NO to Moms for Liberty and Cindy O’Brien, and say YES to M. Rayah Levy, Karen Beck Pooley, Emily Root Schenkel, and Kim Shively.

Cindy O’Brien keeps talking about fiscal responsibility in her mail pieces, but she’s spent around $30,000 on this BASD school board race. Here’s where the money went:

💸$5,877.35 on yard signs (our committee bought just as many and spent $1,084.50)
💸$20,637.55 on mail pieces
💸$911.60 on photography
💸$1,099.55 on phone calls and texts

Where did all this money come from? Her most recent campaign finance report lists no donors, not even herself.

We don’t know whose pocket Cindy O’Brien is in, or why she’s so desperate to win that she would spend an obscene amount of money for an elected office that pays nothing. What is her angle? Is she going to spend your tax dollars in the same way? Doesn’t sound like someone we can trust.

Tomorrow, Nov. 7, say NO to Cindy O’Brien.
