EMS Week is a time to recognize the incredible clinicians who dedicate their lives to serving others, but at Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Company, it’s also about recognizing the families and support systems behind them. As one of the newest ALS services in the area, our family-oriented culture has only continued to grow stronger. The long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays away from home would not be possible without the unwavering support of the loved ones who stand behind our clinicians every single day.
This career is far more than just one week of recognition — it’s a lifetime of sacrifice, teamwork, and commitment to the communities we proudly serve. During this year’s EMS Week, our community once again showed just how much they value and support our team. Multiple local businesses and community members generously donated items, meals, treats, and gift baskets for our clinicians. We cannot thank everyone enough for the overwhelming support and appreciation shown to our EMS family. A special thank you to Kaitlyn VanWhy for organizing so much of this incredible support for our team.
Thank you to Sage Nail Salon, My Boys Baking, Pizza Village, Good Times Pizza, Italian Market, Holiday Hair, Tanczo Enterprises, Dunkin’, Dave’s Deli, Traditions of Hanover, PNC Bank, 3 Men and a Bagel, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Mark Hudson, Craig & Inez Schreiner, Sterling Heights, and Weis Markets for your generosity and support throughout the week.
Additional thanks to Starbucks for coffee, the Hanover Township Board of Supervisors for doughnuts, cookies, and pretzel bites, McKenna Posivak for baked goods, Sterling Heights for lunch, and 3 Men and a Bagel for bagels.
We also want to extend a sincere thank you to both Lehigh Valley Health Network and St. Luke’s University Health Network for their EMS Week treats, activities, and continued partnership throughout the year. Your support for EMS never goes unnoticed.
To all EMS clinicians, families, healthcare partners, and community supporters — thank you for everything you do to help us continue serving at the highest level.
