If you're planning a visit to the Bookshop, please keep in mind that due to the ongoing construction at the library, you'll need to use the temporary entrance.

β Library visitors will need to use a temporary entrance to the Bettendorf Public Library beginning Tuesday, July 28, while the sidewalks and ADA curb ramps around the building are replaced. In addition, patrons will not be able to return library materials after hours, as the drive-through to the automatic return and the outdoor book drops will be in the construction zone.
TEMPORARY LIBRARY ENTRANCE
Visitors will need to enter the building on the east side of the library through the teen space, called The Quad (in green on the map).
MATERIALS RETURN
Eligible library materials automatically renew and can be returned to any other RiverShare Library. In addition, the majority of RiverShare Library materials are fine free and may be kept a bit longer during this period without incurring overdue fines (see the link for Bettendorf Library exceptions). Returns will be accepted inside the building during regular library hours.
The first stage of Phase 1 of this project is expected to be completed in two weeks, weather permitting. During the second stage, the main entrance, the drive-through to the automatic return, and the outdoor book drops will be reopened.
