TRAIL-BLOCKER tree promptly removed by our hard-working trail crew volunteers Dan and Bob! And under the watchful eye and helping hand of our Trail Care Coordinator Stephanie. This big one was blocking the trail a little east of Airport Road. Awesome job crew!

Each time we get heavy rains, the unpaved portion of the trail in Beulah at Benzie St. and County Road experiences washouts that must be repaired.
Today, Stephanie and Bob went out and “got the worst of it.”
So far this season, the Friends have dedicated many volunteer hours towards manually repairing these washouts and have also spent $3,500 for contract excavation work.

A special thank you to our volunteers who devoted their time greeting the public and informing them about our various trail development projects.
