Our district is a small rural district in Washington County, Ohio, that offers exceptional academic services to our students and provides opportunities to participate in various successful extracurricular activities. We are comprised of three elementary schools and one combined middle school/high school: Beverly-Center Elementary, Lowell Elementary, Salem-Liberty Elementary, and Fort Frye High/Jr.

Congratulations to Ekko Strode for passing the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification exam at Y-City Flying in Zanesville. Earning this certification demonstrates knowledge in drone operations, airspace regulations, and flight safety while preparing students for opportunities in a rapidly growing industry.

Drone technology continues to expand throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley in fields such as agriculture, construction, public safety, and infrastructure inspection. This achievement reflects the valuable workforce skills students are developing through career technical education.

For several months, the FFHS Athletic Boosters has been searching for officers for the 2026-2027 school year. To date, none have been confirmed.
The Athletic Boosters provides critical resources and services for our athletic programs such as concessions, uniforms, equipment, and medical supplies, and assists with some athletic facility upgrades.
Several people have indicated they would help but do not want to be officers.
Our students and athletic programs need adults to fulfill these officers roles immediately so that we can continue with the supports and resources.
Please consider stepping up and serving as a leader. Many hands make light work. Please contact Athletic Director Matt Tullius if you are interested. Thank you!
