There are 29 new bestsellers, five new movies, fifteen new audiobooks, two new music CDs, 50 new children's books, and 100 other new books, including 48 that are available online.

The new bestsellers this week include "The Witch," "The Steps," and "Partita." The new movies this week include "Toy Story 5," "Minions & Monsters," and "I Love Boosters."

Teens, it's time to vote! From October 1-16 the Massachusetts' Teen Choice Book Award wants to hear from teens all over the state to vote for their top new books of the year. Ballots can be cast in the teen room or online at https://buff.ly/OQwSOpQ

It's officially October and that means it's time to start planning for our annual Literary Pumpkin Contest. Create a pumpkin with a literary connection whether a character, book cover, scene or author; get creative!

Entries can be dropped off from Wednesday, October 21 through Friday, October 23 with everyone invited to drop by and vote for their favorite on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25.
