This morning, I received a call from a citizen regarding a male and female with two small children stating they are from Romania and need money to get to Texas. These individuals have stopped at a few of the local churches here in Beverly as well as a church in Morgan County. This office has been briefed prior to this of a Romanian gypsy group going around in other parts of Ohio and other states luring people by using the children to get into homes and businesses to commit theft. If anyone comes to your residence stating that they need help or that their child needs to use the restroom please call your local police and do not let them in. The male subject is around 5’2 to 5’4, light brown skin, wearing sweats and a t-shirt, and possibly in his 20’s. The female is around 5’2 to 5’4, black hair and dark skinned, she was wearing a long black dress and is possibly in her 20’s. The children range from 4-6 years old and there is one boy and one girl.
