This month, the Bevier Fire Department trained on drafting operations.

In a rural community, fire hydrants aren’t always nearby, so we may rely on drafting water from ponds and other natural water sources to fight fires.

Training like this keeps our firefighters prepared and is just another way we’re putting our community first.

🚒 A Heartfelt Thank You from Todd and Stacy Lineberry 🚒

After 20 years of dedicated service, as of Friday June 26, 2026
We are retiring from active duty with the Bevier Fire Protection District.

We joined Bevier Fire Department in 2006 with David Coleman as our Fire chief-
as a husband and wife team on the fire department
We have witnessed many positive changes throughout the years,
including the department becoming Bevier Fire Protection District in 2009.
In 2024, the LZ was built at the Bevier Junction we named it in memory of Captain Mike Miller-

During our time with the department,
Stacy helped establish our annual Fire Department Fall Fire Bags program for
Bevier C-4 Pre-K through 5th grade students.
Todd and I also played a major role in Fire Prevention Month each October, helping bring students from our community to the fire station to learn valuable fire safety lessons.

Todd proudly served as Lieutenant,
while I served as Fire Chief following the retirement of David Coleman in 2021.
Todd and I our grateful for the friendships - memories - calls experience we have shared through the years-
Together,
Todd & I have dedicated countless hours
Late night’s & early morning calls to protecting and serving our community.
Although we are retiring from active leadership roles -
Todd and I are not going far.
We will remain with the Fire department as Reserve Members,
assisting when needed.
I will also continue my involvement with our youth programs,
including the Fire Dept Fall Bags and Fire Prevention activities that have become such an important part of our community.
Todd and I wanted to say thank you to everyone that has supported us throughout the years on the fire department .

Justin Tubbs will serve as our new Fire Chief -
Marc Spencer will serve as our new Lieutenant -
We our confident the fire department will continue to be in good hands as the next generation of leadership carries on serving our community -

Hats off to 75 years of a mascot with a mission.

This , we're celebrating Sparky the Fire Dog and all the ways he has helped bring fire safety messages to people of all ages for the past 75 years.

🚒 Bevier Fire Protection District News Update 🚒

Over the past year, our department has been fortunate to welcome dedicated individuals to our fire department .

We are grateful for their willingness to serve our community and answer the call when needed.

We would also like to recognize Al Binker, who assists our department with his drone services.
Al is a valuable resource during emergency situations, especially when searching for missing persons.
His skills and technology provide an extra set of eyes when time matters most, and we appreciate his continued support of our department and our community.🇺🇸

Changes are happening at Bevier Fire Protection District

We want to recognize and thank two Bevier firefighters for their years of service to our community.
The end of May 2026

🚒 Chad Teter left the department after 11 years of service.

🚒 Travis Mason left the department after 5 years of service.

We appreciate the countless hours, hard work, dedication, and commitment both Chad and Travis have given to the citizens of our district.
Their willingness to answer the call, day or night, has made a difference in our community and will not be forgotten.

Gabrielson‘s towing donation will go towards a purchase of a ATV
Purchasing of this atv will greatly improve our ability to help at brushfires in helping our fire department reach / get into areas where it is difficult for our trucks to reach.
