Jason Litalien for Senate 32

Jason Litalien for Senate 32 Independent candidate for Maine Senate. I decided to run for Maine Senate District 32 because this community has given me so much, and I want to give back.

Veteran and business owner focused on lowering costs, improving education, and supporting responsible growth in Biddeford, Dayton, Hollis, Lyman, and Arundel. I was born and raised in Biddeford. I spent nearly 13 years serving in the Air Force, then returned home to build my life here. I opened a restaurant, went to law school, and now run a law practice in Biddeford, where I help people through d

ifficult times and plan for their future. Growing up here shaped who I am. I have great memories of Little League, P*e Wee football, delivering newspapers, and attending Biddeford High School. When I came home, this community welcomed me back. On the first day I opened my law office, seven people from Biddeford called for appointments. That support has never stopped. Today, my wife Kristen works with me in the office, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the life we’ve built here. This community has always had my back. Now it’s time to stand up for our future. We need to rein in spending, protect our seniors, support law enforcement and first responders, and address crime and drug use in our communities. Our schools need strong leadership and accountability, and we must ensure our tax dollars are used wisely. District 32 includes Biddeford, Arundel, Lyman, Hollis, and Dayton. I’m running as an Independent to bring common sense, balance, and accountability to Augusta—and to serve the community that has given me everything.

A recent report highlighted by WBLM ranks Maine among the worst economies in the nation. That should concern every family, worker, entrepreneur, and retiree in our state.

The truth is, Maine doesn't have a people problem. We have a leadership problem.

For too long, Augusta has been dominated by career politicians who have never had to meet a payroll, build a business, create jobs, or navigate the complex regulations they impose on everyone else.

I've spent my career doing exactly that.

As a business owner, I've created jobs, managed budgets, and experienced firsthand the challenges facing Maine employers. As an attorney, I've helped individuals, families, and businesses solve real-world problems and cut through bureaucratic red tape.

We need leaders who understand both economic growth and the laws that shape it. We need practical solutions that support small businesses, attract investment, keep young people in Maine, and make our state more affordable for working families.

Maine can do better.

If you're tired of watching our economy fall behind while politicians make excuses, I ask for your vote. Together, we can bring common-sense leadership, real-world experience, and accountability back to Augusta.

Maine families work hard for every dollar. Jason Litalien believes Augusta needs to show the same discipline.

Lower taxes start with common-sense budgeting, less waste, and respect for the people who pay the bills: Maine taxpayers.

It’s time for practical leadership that puts working families and local communities first.

Maine families don’t have a revenue problem — they have a cost problem.

It’s time to stop overspending in Augusta and start delivering real relief where it matters most.

✔️ Control government spending
✔️ Cut waste and refocus priorities
✔️ Ease the burden on property taxpayers
✔️ Support small businesses and job growth

Lower taxes shouldn’t be a slogan — it should be a result of responsible leadership.
I’m running as an Independent to bring common sense and accountability back to our state budget.

Lower taxes. Stronger Maine.

Small businesses are the backbone of Maine communities. They create jobs, support local families, and keep our towns moving forward.

Jason Litalien believes state government should make it easier, not harder, for local businesses to grow, hire, and serve their neighbors.

Benjamin Franklin spent a lot of time thinking about money.

So what do you think he'd say about politicians bragging about raising taxes while Maine families struggle with higher costs?

One part of the conversation deserves a serious answer.

A federal audit found at least $45.6 million in improper MaineCare payments. At the same time, my opponent served as Chair of the Senate Oversight Committee responsible for oversight of DHHS.

Maine taxpayers deserve accountability. If government loses track of tens of millions of dollars, the solution shouldn't be higher taxes. The solution should be fixing the problem.

Common sense matters.

Maine people deserve a government that is open, honest, and accountable.

I believe taxpayers should know where their money is going, why decisions are being made, and who is responsible. Common-sense leadership means transparency, fiscal discipline, and respect for the people government serves.

Stronger schools start with better results — not just more spending.

Our students deserve to read, write, and succeed at the highest levels.
Our teachers deserve support — not more bureaucracy.
And parents deserve a real voice in their child’s education.

It’s time to focus on outcomes, accountability, and opportunity for every student.

I’m running as an Independent to bring common sense back to education policy in Maine.

Let’s give our kids the future they deserve.
