Switch, the company proposing the construction of a data center in our borough, will be holding a public Town Hall meeting at our Fire Hall on Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:00 PM

Please note that Switch is not affiliated with our Fire Company. They are simply renting our facility as a local venue to provide information and answer questions from residents regarding the proposed project.

Election Day Soup and Bake Sale Update

Due to a lack of available volunteers to properly operate the event, we unfortunately need to cancel our Election Day Soup & Bake Sale for Primary Election Day.

We appreciate everyone who planned to support us and apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

In lieu of making or purchasing items for the sale, please consider making a donation to the fire department, as donations are always needed and greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to Fire Fighter Eli Johnson on your graduation from Slippery Rock University! Eli is an important part of our Fire Company and we wish you much success in your journey.

On January 1st, the Big Beaver Borough Volunteer Fire Company will continue to provide fire protection services to Big Beaver residents. At this time, the Borough will not be entering into a contract for services with the Beaver Falls Fire Department.

On December 11th, Borough Council and representatives of the Big Beaver Borough Volunteer Fire Company met with a mediator to discuss the continuation of fire services for our community. Those discussions are ongoing, and mediation will continue.

Borough Council and the Fire Company remain committed to ensuring uninterrupted fire protection for our residents and will continue to work together toward a fiscally responsible and sustainable plan for the future.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lieutenant Greg Androlia. Greg serviced our community for many decades. He will be greatly missed. Rest easy our friend.

We would like to express our appreciation to the crew at Save Pitt Race who held their 1st Bi-weekly Winter Be**er Meeter car meet at our facility. They raised over $600 for our Fire Company that was matched by BJ's Car Wash of Washington, PA totaling more than $1,200.

Yesterday students from the Big Beaver Elementary School toured our Fire Department and conducted an evacuation drill at the school.
