🚌 Help Us Fill a Bus for Local Youth! 💙

The Youth Attention Center (YAC) is excited to partner with CMHCM and MOTA for our Fill a Bus donation drive happening next week, Friday, July 10th from 11-3pm at Walmart in Big Rapids !

Together, we're collecting basic needs and non-perishable food items to support youth in our communities who are facing difficult circumstances. Every donation big or small, makes a difference.

🎒 Some of our most-needed items include:
🧴 Deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, razors, and towels
🧻 Paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, and trash bags
🥫 Non-perishable foods like peanut butter, jelly, macaroni & cheese, ramen, and other shelf-stable items

📍 You can donate in two ways:
✅ Drop off your donations at the Fill a Bus event next week.
✅ Donate early by placing items in one of the collection boxes located at CMHCM offices.

Come out and support the Youth Attention Center Friday, July 10th from 11:00-3:00pm at Walmart.

We are so grateful for your kindness, energy, and commitment to helping local youth. It’s inspiring to see young people making such a positive impact, and we appreciate every one of your efforts.

Our agency spent the day in Lansing for Dome Day yesterday. As staff, we spent the day advocating for continued funding to serve homeless and runaway youth. Our youth representatives were able to share their lived experiences in our program to our senators and representatives.

We were also afforded the opportunity to have a tour of the capitol and be on the house floor thanks to the generous Tom Kunse for State Representative. We attended house session where Mr. Kunse recognized us by introducing us to all house representatives.

It was the perfect day speaking about our program and exploring our beautiful capitol.

We will be housing a few youth soon and they are in need of household items. Please reach out if you have any of the following that they might be able to use:

-small table/chairs
-any kitchen supplies
-pots/pans
-bedframe/mattress- must be in good condition- no stains
-any living room furniture
-trash can
-microwave/toaster/air fryer
