The membership of the BRAVFC would like to extend our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters at Clearfield EMS, Brady Township Fire Company, and Sykesville/Reynoldsville Ambulance on the loss of their colleague, brother, and friend.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Vehicle Accident – No Injuries

Engine Rescue Responded.

The Deputy arrived to find one vehicle partially on the roadway after striking a decorative yard stone and a wooden fence.

The Engine Rescue crew obtained refusals and provided fluid cleanup.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rescue 17 was involved in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of E. Main Street and Church Street in the Borough of Big Run while responding to a medical emergency in Henderson Township.

Three firefighters were aboard the apparatus at the time of the accident. Fortunately, none of the firefighters sustained any injuries.

The occupants of the other vehicle involved sustained minor injuries and was transported by Sykesville Ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation.

At this time, the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are leading the investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available through their official report.
