On 03/12/26, Big Spring Police Officers responded to a call for service at 1907 S. Birdwell Lane (Antojitos) in reference to a forgery in which an unknown Hispanic female passed a counterfeit $100.00 bill as payment for merchandise. The unknown Hispanic female was observed through a security camera to be wearing a black in color jacket with white lettering, black in color pants, and red in color shoes. After providing the counterfeit $100.00 bill and receiving change back, the unknown female then left Antojitos.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating/identifying an unknown Hispanic male subject involved in a theft case.

On 2/14/26, Big Spring Police Officers responded to a call for service at 201 W. FM. 700 (Wal-Mart) where an unknown Hispanic male wearing a black in color ballcap, black in color sweatshirt, and black in color pants, stole a gold in color ring. The unknown Hispanic male asked a Wal-Mart associate if he could look at different rings in the Jewelry department, selected a ring valued at approximately $298.00, and proceeded to walk out of the store without paying for the item.

On 12/20/25, Big Spring Police Officers responded to a call for service at 2000 S. Gregg St (HEB) where approximately seven juveniles walked inside HEB and stole or ate several items that included MD 20/20 alcoholic beverage, a 20oz Coca-Cola bottle, donuts, Creamy Creations Ice Cream Cake, and strawberry Uncrustables without paying for the items.

THE RESPONSIBLE PERSON HAS BEEN CONTACTED ON THIS CASE.

Howard County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying this vehicle and it's owners. On February 2, 2026, at approximately 1:00 PM, Howard County Sheriff's Office Deputy was dispatched to speak with the caller by phone. The caller then provided pictures of the suspect vehicle dragging items behind the vehicle, believed to be illegally dumping on 12/22/2025. This occurred around Old C. City and Hwy 350 area. If you know the whereabouts of this vehicle or the owner/driver please give us a call. The vehicle is a maroon/red in color Ford F-150 that appears to have Texas License Plates.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating and identifying suspects. On January 19, 2026, at approximately 6:00 PM, Big Spring Police department was dispatched to the 1500 block of S. Birdwell, in reference to criminal mischief. Upon officers’ arrival it was learned that the caller had captured a video of three people causing damage to the building nearby by throwing rocks causing about $1000.00 in damage!

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating and identifying suspects. On January 25, 2026, at approximately 10:31 PM, Big Spring Police department was dispatched to the 100 Block of E. 3rd Street, in reference to a disturbance. Upon officers’ arrival one male (gray hoodie) was identified that had been injured by an assault by several different people. In the beginning of the video you will see a male (black hair, glasses, black jacket and light in color jeans) shoving the victim to the ground with force. We are seeking the identity of that male and others who joined in the assault just after.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating/identifying an unknown female subject involved in a forgery case.
On December 08, 2025, Big Spring Police Officers were responded to a call for service at 902 WIllia St (DK). After reviewing security camera footage, it was found that an unknown female attempted to pass six, movie-prop $100 dollar bills as payment for a money order. The female suspect appeared to be wearing a blue in color T-shirt and blue jean pants. When the employees attempted to contact the police department for assistance, the female subject then became nervous and left the area in a blue in color 4 door passenger car. Unfortunately the license plate is not registered.

On December 15, 2025, Big Spring Police Officers were responded to a call for service at 1801 S. Gregg in which four packs of Twisted Tea valued at $16.99 each were stolen. The suspect was observed on security camera footage wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black crocs. The suspect was also described as having curly hair and a mustache. The suspect also arrived at the DK store in a dark in color SUV.
