Just a reminder, Friday, September 28 is a Focus Friday. Everyone received the pink notice, but if your 2nd Fraser received a yellow or blue they were selected to stay for Focus Friday.

Attn: Bus Riders 2018-19
The 2018-19 school year is in full swing, and the transportation department at BSISD already has over 1,200 students registered in our SmartTag system!
IF you have a student that would like to be transported to and from school each day, there is a process that needs to be followed. You, as a parent/guardian, MUST come to the transportation department (3600 East 11th) to start the process. A bus rider information form must be completed for each student. Upon completion of the form, we will input the information and issue a SmartTag rider card for each student.
ALERT, ALERT, ALERT!!!!!!
If you have a student that has been riding the bus and does not have a SmartTag card, you need to come to the transportation department, complete the bus rider information form and be issued a card. If you have already completed the information for your student THIS YEAR, and have not received a card, please call the transportation department at 432-264-4108.
Our bus drivers have been issued rider cards to give to each student that is in the SmartTag system. At this time, we hope most of those cards have been handed to the students.
The week of September 4-7, which is this week, is very important for us. The transportation department needs your rider’s information. NO ONE will be denied transportation this week.
After Friday, September 7, 2018, anyone that does not have a SmartTag rider card will not be able to ride the bus. Those riders that have been issued a SmartTag rider card and have misplaced/lost their card will have three days to find the card or go to the transportation department and buy a new card for $5.00 each. If they do not have a card after three (3) days, they will not be eligible to ride the bus UNTIL they have purchased/found the card.
PLEASE REMEMBER!!!!!!
Any student that does NOT have a SmartTag rider’s card must do the following:
ï‚§ Come to the BSISD transportation office located at 3600 East 11th.
ï‚§ Register each student rider by filling out the required form(s).
 Make sure we put the student’s information in the SmartTag system.
ï‚§ We will then issue each registered student a SmartTag rider card, which they will need to carry with them each day, on and off the bus.

Parent don’t forget, we collect box tops! You can send them with your student and they can deliver them to our box top mailbox located in the front foyer.
