Blue Mountain Métis Nation The Blue Mountain Métis Nation All agreed that it was time to share these ways with the world.

The Blue Mountain Métis Nation was organized in 1998 by several Métis families and individual Métis people living across the United States and Canada. These people came from varied Métis backgrounds both historical and cultural yet they all held on to their traditional spiritual beliefs, culture, and very old form of democratic government.

One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest. A coward gets scared and quits. A hero gets scared, but still goes on.

A Metis is born with an Invisible Super Hero Cape, our Sash just keeps us grounded to family and Community.

It reminds us that we are all Connected just like the Infinity Symbol.
