This summer, we're inviting community members to volunteer at the Rodeo Concession Stand to help raise funds for our Child Care Scholarship Program. These scholarships provide much-needed support to families facing financial challenges while ensuring children have access to quality care and learning opportunities.

Give a child a hose and a row of flowers, and watch what happens to time.
It slows down.
There's no rushing a four-year-old who has just discovered that he is the reason something stays alive. He'll water the same petunia three times. He'll check on the buds tomorrow like they're old friends. He'll notice the one that opened overnight before any adult does.
We plant these gardens every spring not because the flowers matter to us — though they do — but because of what grows in the children while they tend them.
Patience. Care. The quiet thrill of I did that.
A child who learns to nurture something small learns something he'll carry his whole life: that the world responds when you show up for it gently, day after day.
So yes, there's dirt under fingernails and a few overwatered casualties. But there's also a little boy who stood guard over a flower bed like it was the most important job in the world.
Because to him, it was. 🌱

There's a particular kind of fear that lives in a parent's chest around water.
You know the one. The split-second scan every time you're near a pool. The way you count heads without even realizing you're doing it.
We feel it too. That's exactly why we don't treat swim lessons as a summer "extra."
This week our kids are climbing into the water with instructors who care - and something shifts when this happens . The hesitation got smaller. The brave got bigger. Little arms reached up instead of clinging. By the end, they weren't just splashing. They were learning the skill that could save their life someday.
We could tell you about our curriculum and our ratios and our credentials. But here's what we actually want you to feel when you drop your child off with us:
They're safe. They're known. Someone here is counting heads too.
That's the whole job, really. 💙

Meet Kristina, one of our amazing Substitute Teachers at Big Timber Early Learning Academy!

With 1 year and 1 month of experience in Early Childhood Education, Kristina brings a caring and supportive presence to our classrooms each day. She loves helping create a fun and positive environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn.

Fun Fact: Kristina loves the outdoors! She enjoys camping and fishing with her boys and dogs whenever she gets the chance.
