Mike has been guiding in Alaska for 25 years and has guided professionally for more than 30 years in Montana, several other western states and abroad. Jojo is an accomplished horse hand and keeps things organized in the office. By combining their strengths and the talents their guides, each client is provided a highly memorable experience. Mike spent four years with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit

At Lazy J Bar O Outfitters, we specialize in high quality horseback expeditions in Montana and Alaska. These experiences include highly successful elk hunts in southwest Montana, fly fishing and summer pack trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and Alaska’s finest big game hunting on horseback.

Owners Mike and Jojo Colpo have been outfitting full time for more than 25 years. They are hands-on outfitters and run the day-to-day operations in camp. Along with an excellent crew of guides and staff, we work hard to make sure each client has an outstanding experience.
