Chandler knows what's up. He knows it's a sweet way to round out the Thanksgiving plate! Help us make sure local families can enjoy that same sweet holiday tradition. Our 6th Annual Drive benefiting the Billerica Community Pantry is on Saturday, October 24th.

Help us stock the pantry shelves by donating cranberry sauce for neighbors in need. Every can donated brings us one step closer to making Thanksgiving a little brighter - and sweeter - for local families!

🥫 Help Us Reach 600 Cans for Our Community Pantry Drive! 🥫

Our Annual Community Pantry Drive is back! Thanks to the incredible generosity of the community last year we collected more than our goal and we’re excited to once again collect Cranberry Sauce for the Pantry’s pre-Thanksgiving distributions.

Saturday, October 24, 2026 // 10am - 1pm / / At the Community Pantry

This year, we have a big goal: 600 cans! Reaching that goal will mean every patron receiving a pre-Thanksgiving distribution can have this traditional favorite on their Thanksgiving table.

Will you help us get to 600? Every can makes a difference, and every donation brings us one step closer.

Please consider donating and helping us make Thanksgiving a little brighter for neighbors in our community experiencing food insecurity.

It was a great day at Billerica Yankee Doodle Homecoming yesterday! We had a phenomenally successful booth along with our friends at Billerica Indivisible. Thanks to Daniel Darris-O'Connor for State Representative, State Senator Cindy Friedman, and Dan Koh for taking time out of their busy schedules to join us at the booth. It was a great day of outreach and engagement with all who attended!

The Billerica DTC will be having a booth at this year's Billerica Yankee Doodle Homecoming this Saturday, September 19th. After the parade, stop by our booth and say hi. We will have information on the DTC, who who we are and what we do. We'll also have free posters (limited availability) as well as a Take-Your-Own-Photo Photo Booth with fun backgrounds! We hope to see you there!

Twenty-five years later. Nearly 42% of the world's population was born since September 11, 2001. Four out of every 10 people have no personal memory of that day. For those of us who lived through it, "Never Forget" means more than remembering where we were or what we saw.

It means carrying forward the lessons of that day, honoring those we lost, and ensuring that future generations continue striving for a world defined by compassion, unity, and peace rather than the fear and division that followed.

As you enjoy the unofficial end of summer today, remember the reason you have today (and weekends in general) off from labor: Unions! Happy Labor Day!

Malignant narcissist says "what?"

President Trump is snubbing the 9/11 25th anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero because they won't let him speak 🤔

Mitch McConnell has consistently voted against any sort of healthcare expansion and voted SIX TIMES to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Let it not be lost on any of us that he’s now spent 3 weeks in the hospital and is covered by the Senate Healthcare plan. 😡

Senate Democrats, and indeed all Democrats at the federal level, should be demanding answers about whether nor not he is still among the living!

“Hurrah for the flag of the free,
May it wave as our standard forever,
The gem of the land and the sea,
The banner of the right.

Let despots remember the day
When our fathers with mighty endeavor,
Proclaim'd as they march'd to the fray,
That by their might, and by their right,
It waves forever!”

Happy Independence Day! May we always be the land of the free!
