Update: River Street project will now continue into Monday August 31st.

🚧 TEMPORARY RIVER STREET ROAD CLOSURE & DETOUR 🚧

Beginning Wednesday, August 26 through Friday, August 28, the eastbound lane of River Street (toward Billerica Center) will be closed daily from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM for scheduled construction and maintenance.

➡️ Eastbound Detour:
River Street → Bridle Road → Bridge Street → Boston Road

🏠 Local Access: Eastbound travel on River Street past Bridle Road will be restricted to local residents.

✅ The westbound/outbound lane will remain OPEN and will not be affected.

⚠️ Please expect delays near Billerica Center, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes when possible. Drivers should reduce speed and use caution when approaching the work and detour areas.
