A SPECIAL NOTE FOR The County Water District of Billings Heights: Please note that if an election is triggered (when more candidates than the number of positions file, requiring a competitive election), electors that are not residents of the district must file a special form AT LEAST 25 DAYS BEFORE THE ELECTION available athttps://www.yellowstonecountymt.gov/elections/forms/WaterandSewerBallotRequest.pdf along with proof of paid taxes for the property at issue. This must be filed before each election at the County Elections Office. Please notify your Boards and your electors of this requirement. If they file it less than 25 days before the election, they will not receive a ballot. They can walk across the hall from the Elections office and get proof of their tax payment at the Treasurer’s office.

Construction crews and engineers have coordinated plans to complete the repairs. Due to saturated ground conditions progress is slow. The water service will be restored later this evening. Residents on Moose Hollow may take a while longer to see service, but all water will be re-established tonight.

The County Water District is currently experiencing a water outage on Wicks Lane east of Bitterroot Dr. The following Streets affected are Wicks Lane, Moose Hollow Rd, Riverview Dr, River Overlook Dr, Outlook Dr, and Riverview Circle. This outage is due to the current City of Billings Storm Drain Project that is digging near the water Main. Currently, there is no time frame on when the Water will be restored, but the Contractor is working diligently on repairing the water main. There are approximately 84 services affected by this outage.
