Job Title: Public Record Data Collector - Part Time Position
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Public Record Data Collector to join our team. The collector will be responsible for gathering and updating public record data from various courts, ensuring accuracy, and fulfilling audit requests as needed. This is a mostly remote position with flexible hours.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Requirements:
-Basic understanding of Excel.
-Personal laptop with Excel.
-Familiarity with Dropbox.
-Must pass background check.
-Must pass certification course.
-Familiarity with Full Court Enterprise or civil court filing methods preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
1. Locate and gather new public record data from Yellowstone Justice Court and Yellowstone District Court public computers located at the Billings Courthouse.
2. Collect updates for previously collected records by way of Montana Full Court Enterprise public portal. This is done remotely.
3. Maintain a professional and polite demeanor at all times when interacting with court staff.
4. Strictly adhere to company guidelines regarding the collection of public record data.
Time Commitment: Part-time position.
Collection of New Records:
Collector will be expected to commit a minimum of five hours per week during normal business hours collecting new records using public computers at Yellowstone Justice and District Court until the county is brought into currency and compliance. Once Yellowstone Courts are current, the average time commitment at court public computers ranges from four to six hours a month.
Collection of Updates to Previously Collected Records:
After Yellowstone is brought into compliance, this will be the bulk of the collector's work. The collector will commit a minimum of five hours per week collecting updates and fulfilling audit requests, which can be done remotely using a public portal. Depending on collector's availability, additional responsibilities may increase weekly hours to 20.
Compensation:
Compensation is $0.90 per record collected. Audit rates vary by type.
A collector working 20 hours per week has the potential to earn $600 or more weekly.
