CALLING ALL ADULT VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS! The ARC Courts Complex is excited to host its Inaugural KOA Kickoff Volleyball Tournament September 12th & 13th. With Women's, Co-Ed Recreation, and Co-Ed Competitive divisions, this tournament offers competition levels for all players. In addition to bragging rights, winners of each division receive a tournament t-shirt and FREE entry into the Billings Parks & Recreation Winter Coed Volleyball League!

An update on the end of season pool schedule. Pool hours will change as listed:
â€ĸ Wading pools will close for the season August 2nd at 6pm.
â€ĸ South & Rose Pools remain open until August 29th.
â€ĸ End of season celebration: Dog Days of Summer event on August 30th, 12-3pm at Rose Park Pool - $4 per dog.

All spray grounds will remain open and available for families from 10am to 8pm, through Labor Day Weekend. Spray grounds are located at North, South, Terry, Highland and Castle Rock Parks.

We've had an incredible summer of volunteerism in our community! One particular story has been inspiring of generations of service, right here in Parks. Meet Makayla & PJ:

Makayla started just this summer with our crew, serving over 30 hours (and counting!) with Rec2u. These youth help support our free program, and make it possible for kids in the community to be active this summer! Makayla works hard and we look forward to her continued growth and leadership in her bright future.

She has great role models in her life, including her grandmother, PJ! PJ is one of our longest-serving volunteers in Parks, researching historical burial records at Mountview Cemetery in the oldest parts of Billings original cemetery. She also serves with the Yellowstone Genealogy Society at our senior center, among the MANY organizations she supports.

This is a long legacy of service, and we are inspired by all these women who serve our community! Thank you to all our volunteers and their consistent service, in all its forms! Be sure to mark your calendar for October 24th, and visit a community-wide Volunteer Fair. Come learn about local organizations where you can give outside of yourself to serve our community!
