Kick off the start to our Summer Reading program with an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and a little prehistoric adventure. Celebrate with dino-themed crafts, games, and activities for all ages. 🦖 Then stick around for our epic Dino Battle at 3:30pm in the Community Room! Watch our dinosaurs compete in a showdown and vote for your favorite dinosaur for a chance to win a RAWRsome prize. Come Unearth a Story at Billings Public Library! 📖🦕

Join in the journey with the Bookmobile Passport Trekker! Pick up a Bookmobile Passport at any service desks at the library or on the bookmobile. Then start your journey on June 2nd. ✨

Visit five in-town Bookmobile locations to get your passports stamped to receive points (see passport for details). Receive extra points when you visit one out of town location and our new location: Pompey’s Pillar National Monument. While at Pompey’s Pillar, learn about Lewis & Clark, pick up various resources, and create a bird house! The Bookmobile Passport event is open to all ages.

Think you’ve got what it takes to crack the code and unlock the CO+LAB? In this hands-on escape room challenge, you’ll explore the library’s makerspace while solving puzzles, learning how the space works, and discovering how to get certified on equipment, check out CO+LAB2GO kits, sign up for workshops, and earn maker badges.

This in-person orientation is required for anyone who wants to use the CO+LAB. Completing the escape room counts as your official certification for CO+LAB 101.

Open to all ages. Children 11 and under must attend with a registered adult.
