To the Wonderful Citizens of Biloxi,

As this joyous season of Christmas approaches, I am filled with gratitude for the unwavering support and trust you have placed in me as your city councilman. It is an honor and a privilege to serve such a vibrant and caring community, and I am committed to doing my utmost to meet the needs of our city and ensure that Biloxi continues to flourish as a wonderful place to call home.

Christmas is a time when we come together to celebrate cherished traditions and to reflect on the blessings in our lives. It is a time for exchanging gifts, for instilling our beliefs and values within our families, and for building a positive future that will become our shared legacy. 📷❤️ Life can change in an instant. These pictures hold so much meaning for me. On the left, you see my 14-year-old daughter pitching to my 75-year-young dad, just one week before Hurricane Katrina struck. On the right, you see the aftermath, the destruction and devastation that forever altered our lives.

It's a powerful reminder of the fragility of life and the unpredictability of nature. But amidst the chaos, what remains unwavering is the incredible resiliency of the people of Biloxi. We are a community that stands strong together, no matter what challenges we face.

Katrina tested us in unimaginable ways, but it did not break our spirit. We rose from the ruins, supporting one another, rebuilding our homes, and rebuilding our lives. The bonds that hold us together grew stronger, and our determination to overcome became unbreakable.

Today, as I reflect on these images, I am filled with gratitude for the strength and resilience of my fellow Biloxians. We have faced adversity head-on, and we continue to do so. Whatever comes our way, we will be there for each other, lending a helping hand, sharing a comforting word, and rebuilding what was lost.

Let us never forget the lessons we learned from Katrina. Let us cherish the precious moments we have with our loved ones, for they can change in the blink of an eye. And let us always hold onto hope, knowing that we possess the power to overcome any challenge that comes our way.

🎉 Another WORKING FOR A BETTER BILOXI Promise Fulfilled! 🎉

Dear constituents,

I am thrilled to share some fantastic news with all of you! The long-awaited paving of Eden Rd and Paradise Ln has finally been completed! 🚧🚗

During our recent town hall meeting, the residents of Paradise Ln expressed their concerns about the worn-out, pothole-ridden road that has been causing inconvenience for quite some time. As your representative, I took immediate action and reached out to Supervisor Beverly Martin to discuss potential solutions.

I am delighted to inform you that Supervisor Martin and the city of Biloxi have partnered with us to address this pressing issue. Together, we have successfully paved both Eden Rd and Paradise Ln, ensuring safer and smoother driving experiences for all residents and visitors alike. 🚙💨

I want to take this opportunity to congratulate each and every one of you on this achievement. Your voices were heard, and your persistence has paid off! This is a shining example of what we can accomplish when we work together as a community.

Please take a moment to appreciate the improved infrastructure and enjoy the newfound convenience of your daily commutes. Your safety and satisfaction are always my top priorities, and I will continue to advocate for positive changes that enhance our community's quality of life.

On behalf of the city of Biloxi, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for state representative Kenin Felsher's support and contributions to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast's event last night. His dedication to honoring Senator Tommy Gollott and unveiling the Tommy Gollott Opportunity Center is truly commendable.

The establishment of the Tommy Gollott Opportunity Center in Biloxi is a significant milestone for our community. This center will play a crucial role in assisting young individuals between the ages of 18 and 21 who may lack college or career readiness. By providing them with the necessary resources and support, this center will empower them to become self-sufficient and productive members of society.

Furthermore, I am delighted to hear that the Gala was a tremendous success, with the event selling out and funds being raised to sponsor Club kids for a brighter future. This achievement not only reflects the generosity and compassion of our community but also highlights the collective commitment to the well-being and development of our youth.

I have had the privilege to work with Kevin on several projects and charitable causes and his professional care is nothing short of exemplary.

Once again, thank you Kevin for your unwavering support and dedication to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast and the city of Biloxi. It was indeed a great night for the Coast and an even greater night for the children whose lives will be positively impacted by your efforts.

WORKING FOR A BETTER BILOXI

📣 Exciting News for Our Community on Mason Rd! 🎉

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am thrilled to share some wonderful news with you all! After months of collaboration and hard work, I am delighted to announce the successful installation of a brand new turn around area for waste removal trucks on Mason Rd. 🚛

Before this much-needed addition, our waste removal vehicles were forced to travel in reverse down this long road, often resulting in unintended property damage. The absence of a proper turn around area meant that accidents and unfortunate incidents were all too common. But now, thanks to the concerted efforts of our community, we have finally found a solution to this problem! 🙌

When Mason Rd became part of Ward 6, we saw an opportunity to address this pressing issue. Through open and constructive discussions with the homeowners, we were able to work together to find a feasible solution that benefits us all. The installation of the turn around area not only ensures the safety of our community, but it also minimizes the risk of property damage caused by vehicles unintentionally veering off the road.

But that's not all! Another fantastic outcome of this project is that school buses can now drop off our precious children directly at their front driveways during inclement weather. This will significantly reduce the time they spend exposed to harsh elements and make their commute safer and more convenient. 🚌❤️

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. It is a tremendous honor and privilege to serve this incredible community, and your support and trust in me have made all the difference. Together, we have made Mason Rd a safer and more comfortable place for everyone who calls it home.

On behalf of the City of Biloxi, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for the outstanding work that your organization does to support our community's youth. Your commitment to providing high-quality baseball programs has made a significant impact on the lives of our young people, and we are truly grateful for all that you do.

The Biloxi Youth Baseball League has been an integral part of our community for many years, and your dedication to fostering a love of baseball in our young people has not gone unnoticed. Your hard work and dedication have helped to create a positive environment where children can learn and grow both on and off the field.
