Today was a bittersweet day at Popp’s Ferry as we celebrated five incredible women who have given so much of their hearts to our school. Mrs. Kavanagh, Mrs. Woolley, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Hilton, and Mrs. Champagne. For so many years, they have been more than educators and coworkers. They have been mentors, encouragers, problem solvers, and smiling faces for both students and staff. Their love for children and dedication to Popp’s Ferry can be seen in the countless lives they have impacted over the years. The halls of our school will not be the same without them, but the legacy they leave behind will continue for years to come through the students they inspired and the friendships they built. Thank you for every early morning, every helping hand, every hug, every laugh, and every moment you poured into our school family.

Popp’s Ferry is better because of each of you, and you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Wishing you all the joy and relaxation retirement brings. You have more than earned it!

Congratulations to all of our students on their many accomplishments this year! Our Awards Day celebration was filled with so many smiles as we recognized the hard work, growth, leadership, and achievements of our amazing students. We are so proud of the effort they have shown all year long both in and out of the classroom. Thank you to our teachers, staff, and families for cheering them on every step of the way. Thank you to our amazing PTO for sending us on a grand adventure during Teacher Appreciation Week! You truly made us feel so special as we journeyed through Japan, Hawaii, Switzerland, Italy, and finally back home to Biloxi. Every detail was incredible from the delicious food to the thoughtful gifts that made each stop along the way unforgettable.

A huge thank you as well to TRUECARE for sponsoring our chocolate fountain options and helping make the experience even sweeter! We are so grateful for the love, support, and appreciation shown to our staff this week. ✈️🌍❤️

What an amazing day we had celebrating Altruismo! 🖤🐍Our students had an absolute blast as we honored the House of Givers and all of the hard work, leadership, kindness, and dedication they showed throughout the year. From the smiles and laughter to the school spirit filling the halls, it was such a fun day to celebrate together! We are so proud of all of our students and the positive culture they continue to build at Popp's Ferry. Congratulations again, Altruismo and enjoy those bragging rights!

Today we announced the overall House Winner for this school year!

All of our students did an amazing job this year earning points, but more importantly, growing as leaders and kind, respectful students. We are so proud of the teamwork, character, and school spirit shown by every house all year long!
