Tactical Tuesday! The 815th Airlift Squadron conducted a routine training mission today dropping container delivery systems (CDS) onto the installation’s drop zone.

Known as the Flying Jennies, the 815th AS is a tactical airlift unit responsible for rapidly moving personnel and cargo in support of joint and combined operations. Tactical airlift crews train to operate in diverse environments and deliver supplies where they are needed—sometimes to locations with limited infrastructure or contested access—using airdrop and airland methods.

The squadron conducts these training missions every Tuesday and Thursday to maintain readiness and ensure aircrews and support teams remain proficient in core tactical airlift skills, including safe delivery of equipment and supplies from the air.
