Last week marked a significant milestone for our NYS Assembly campaign with our first fundraiser. I am thrilled to share some great news: our campaign has garnered support from over 75 local donors and raised more than $4,000! This qualifies us for the grassroots matching funds program. This achievement reflects our collective commitment to making Broome County a better place for all. This showing of grassroots support is a signal that we are not just in this race, but that we are going to win this race! Our community understands that sending me to Albany will ensure that we receive the most from our state government. It was an honor to address the Broome County Democratic Party and Binghamton City Democratic Committee about our concerns locally. We have the power to lower energy bills by passing the NY HEAT Act. No one should be forced to choose between staying warm or staying afloat.

We must also pass the New York For All Act which prevents ICE from using our state resources. No one should have to live in fear of being detained or killed by ICE.

We can protect our communities and families and work to lower energy prices together.
