The severe threat has been increased to a level 3/5 for this weekend. Large to very large hail, damaging winds, dust and tornadoes are all possible. The peak time for storms is forecast to be during the afternoon and evening each day. Those with outdoor plans this weekend will want to remain weather aware and have a way to receive warnings if any are issued for your area.

The department was busy with multiple things at the school this week!
Thursday Chief Wright and some of the firefighters spoke to the elementary students during fire week and also got to show the students a couple of our fire trucks. The students had a blast being able to blow the fire horn.

Friday some of the Fire Department participated in the parade for homecoming week. The theme was Danger Zone. Our department was very excited to participate and pass out candy.

Thank you to everyone for letting us be part of all of these festivities
