Huffman Academy Huffman Academy opened in August of 2011 as a Pre-K through 5th grade elementary school. The school is located on the northeastern side of Birmingham, Alabama.

The campus sits less than .5 miles off Parkway East.

TIE DAY TUESDAY IS TAKING OVER HUFFMAN ACADEMY!

WE’RE GETTING NOTICED! 🎥🧡💚

Today was ANOTHER incredible Tie Day Tuesday, and we saw EVEN MORE young men across ALL grade levels step up, suit up, and show out! The confidence. The swag. The pride. The leadership. WE LOVE TO SEE IT!

But this is about SO much more than wearing a tie. 👔 We are growing young men who see themselves as leaders, believe in themselves, and understand that they have a responsibility to make a positive impact in their school and community.

And today, a Spectrum News reporter came to Huffman Academy to see what all the excitement is about and highlight our young men and this amazing initiative! 🎥

Our young men showed up today wearing their ties and wearing them with PRIDE! We saw the difference in their behavior, their swag, and most importantly, their confidence. What a GREAT start to Tie Day Tuesday!

Remember, every Tuesday for the remainder of the school year, our young men are encouraged to wear a tie and show their Viking pride.
