#GivingTuesday is coming up on December 1 - so please mark your calendars.

Our Christmas goal this year is $5,000 to be used in direct support of moms who need temporary help with food, clothing, housing and transportation during a crisis of abuse, neglect or homeless.

These funds will be used entirely for those mom's who come to us desperate for immediate help during wait periods or availability in appropriate programs for safety and survival.

Giving Tuesday is the biggest day of giving in the year. It is an unmatched opportunity to support women, men and families who need help during a pregnancy, family crisis or with material needs, like diapers, wipes, clothing, baby car seats and furniture.

Your kindness means more than you will ever know to those in need of help.
Your support will enable innocent children, mom's and dads to receive the best present ever - the gift of life.

We provide free limited ultrasounds to our clients, a service many women can not afford otherwise and an opportunity for prenatal care including labor and delivery.

So please join us on Giving Tuesday to enable children to have the best opportunity at life and health and improve the lives of so many families through our free and confidential services plus education programs/life skills for moms and dads and teens.

Today is the big day for Positive Choices! Our very first gala is tonight. Everyone has worked hard putting this together. It was hard but so exciting. We have a great keynote speaker, Dale Wallace. A delicious meal planned. So many businesses, churches and individuals donated wonderful silent auction items and door prizes. ALL FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
We get to help clients, no judgements, show unconditional love, all while sharing His word and protecting the unborn!

“CELEBRATION OF LIFE” on September 17, 2020 at Trussville First Baptist Church. We will have a great meal, key speaker Mr. Dale Wallace, door prizes and silent auction. Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased through Positive Choices. Please come join us. With the help of our community we are able to provide pregnancy test, ultrasounds, parenting classes, Bible studies and counseling. Most importantly we share the word of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and protect the unborn.

People ask what we do at the Pregnancy Resource Center. We celebrate life and love people. Today we had the pleasure to host a baby shower for our client and friend Jalecia George. She has participated in our EWYL education program, Bible Study and utilized resources for her baby (car seat, diapers, clothing) that was generously donated by our community partners. This is how we serve our community, with hope, love and compassion.

Thank you Doug Hall/Dream Team Grants Mill Church of the Highlands for our supplies at the Pregnancy Resource Center. Our entire team and other prayer groups have been praying for resources and you called and delivered supplies and we know this is how the body of Christ works. Thank you CHURCH OF THE HIGHLANDS.

To all our staff, volunteers and clients, The center is praying without ceasing during these days of the pandemic. We are available to consult with you by phone and meet your needs by scheduling your individual appointments for dispersing diapers/wipes for the babies and pregnancy tests and ultrasounds for moms because we want you, our clients, to feel safe during your pregnancy.

If you know someone who needs diapers/wipes who can’t get out please let me know and I can drop off supplies to their home.

We are checking with our staff and volunteers often to make sure everyone is ok and to encourage one another.

I am so thankful for our team at the center and how we love each other as a family and take care of each other as we do our clients.

God bless and stay strong because God is the Alpha and Omega and has us in His hands

We are having a great success with our Fatherhood Program at the Center on Sunday nites. We offer childcare and a meal for our families. The men and women are in their separate Bible Studies while the children have their Bible lesson. To all our supporters and community friends we have great news to share. Renaldi Vines one of our client advocates has led many young women to accept Christ or rededicate their lives. Several of these women are now attending church at Faith Community Fellowship. Continue to pray for our work at the center and all the workers that we will see more women and men come to know Christ.

We enjoyed our visit with Quest for Health Chiropractic and plan to take advantage of their orientation for our individual health analysis.

Thank you so much to the ladies over at Positive Choices for allowing us to come in and speak about how we are shifting the health of our community through neurologically based chiropractic care. They also got some delicious Moe's Southwest Grill 🌯 while hearing from Dr. Miracle!

Thank you ladies for updating the children’s play room at the center. It has brightened their day and with the books easily displayed reading will be more fun. We are so thankful and excited to serve the community with The Church st GrantsMill.

The Ladies Discipleship Group has been working with Positive Choices, a local non-profit that provides free and low cost medical, educational, and support services to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies. Our volunteers finished sprucing up their children's waiting area yesterday and are looking forward to assisting them in other ways.

Thank you everyone at the Center for the Christmas presents and our delicious lunch from Olive Garden. You all have made this transition to Director the best experience a person could have personally, spiritually and professionally. Everyone has gone the extra mile to make the Center a multi functioning ministry, changes requiring more work and effort, but you never complained, only worked harder and faster. I believe we grew as a team because we depended on each other to link the pieces. My reflection on this year has been one of personal and spiritual growth. Each person on the Positive Choices team has made an impact on my life. I see each one of us as a building block for this ministry and as we move forward into 2020 my spirit feels Gods hand leading us to share the gospel through new opportunities that will impact life affirming choices for women, men and their families. I am excited to see how God is going to use us as his ambassadors, small as we are, to be a lighthouse in the community where His love will be shared and others will come to know Jesus as we do.
