Black Alabamians for Education is a Parent advocacy organization with a mission to βequip, inform and empower black families with information on accessing a high-quality k12 education.β
The Parent Gathering scheduled for Sunday, August 28th from 2:00 pm until 6:15 pm located at Greater Grace Baptist Church 1945 Center Point Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35215. It has been coordinated with the intent to support Parents in a successful academic school year! In this setting parents will be able to learn about IEP/504 plans and their legal rights; College Readiness steps/FAFSA applications; ACT and ACAP Scores; the correlation between Housing and Education ALL over DINNER!
