All services at Prescott House are free of charge to children and their families. 💙🏡

Prescott House provides a better way for children who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, or witnessed violence. We provide a better way for each child to share their indescribable stories with us.

Child victims and witnesses have a Forensic Interview, which is conducted by a specially trained counselor to talk to children in a non-leading, developmentally appropriate way regarding the trauma that the child has experienced.

Prescott House works with a team of investigators from the Department of Human Resources and law-enforcement who watch the interview and then conduct their investigations without having to interview the child multiple times.

When a child experiences abuse and trauma, they often feel alone, like the world is passing them by. Before Prescott House, there wasn’t a comfortable place for child victims and witnesses to go to tell about their experiences. 💙🏡

For almost 40 years, child victims and witnesses of Jefferson County have come to Prescott House to tell about their indescribable experiences. They receive counseling and any other help they need!

Everything is free of charge at Prescott House. Here is what your contribution can do:

$50 provides prevention training materials
$100 provides therapy tools for our young clients
$150 provides one hour of therapy $300 provides advocacy services for one family
$500 provides one forensic interview
$1,000 provides prevention education training for first responders

On Thursday we had the sweetest helpers come to Prescott House! Staff and Leadership from Zaxby’s held a day of service for us! They were such hard workers and were so willing to learn about what we do daily for the children of Jefferson County. 💙🏡

Ronda is the owner of Carmine Communications and a new member of our Prescott House Women’s Group! Our Women’s Group volunteers their time and talents to help with aspects of Prescott House events and is always thinking of ways to actively support our kiddos! 💙🏡
