🎆 Fireworks can be exciting, but they can also be overwhelming for older adults. This Fourth of July, remember to:
✔️ Keep your loved one cool and hydrated.
✔️ Encourage them to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day.
✔️ Be mindful that loud fireworks may startle those living with dementia or memory loss.
✔️ Make sure medications are taken on schedule.
✔️ Never leave an elderly loved one alone if they need assistance.
